Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 could be the first smartphone with 5G

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 will be officially revealed in October by the Chinese company. Although the rumors have been many, it is only now that the information begins to have logic.

First, it was expected that Xiaomi would move the front chamber of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 to the top. Then we talked about a pop-up camera identical to Vivo NEX, and it is now expected that the camera will have a motor that will come out from the rear of the screen identical to OPPO Find X.

That is, we now have an almost complete idea of what Xiaomi’s next-gen smartphone will look like. This new image only comes to show even more the alleged smartphone and still a pleasant surprise. The image is published by one of the Xiaomi executives and we see a “mysterious” smartphone with 5G connection.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 could be the first smartphone of the brand with 5G

Starting with the smartphone, we can assume that this is the next Xiaomi Mi Mix 3. We see a smartphone with reduced margins at the top and bottom. Something we can presume will happen if the cameras are actually shifted to the back.

Unfortunately, we have no idea if the biometric sensor will be on the screen or if it will follow the lines of the predecessors by including the technology in the back.

The device looks slimmer than the Mix 2S. That is, more stretched and narrower. This will make the gesture interaction in MIUI 10 significantly better. This is, in my opinion, one of the interface problems with Mix 2S. The device is too wide to “back” (swipe from left to right) comfortably.

The 5G is also technology that must be spoken. The race to the 5G may not be very relevant to the user, however, it is very important for manufacturers. You know a little bit more about 5G and its changes here in this article.

In short, we will have to wait and see. Being a constant user of Mix 2S I have to admit that I am looking forward to seeing the new Mix 3 on the market. I just wish Xiaomi will not “outdate” it 6 months later with a new “S” model.
