Since the differences between the S line and the Samsung Note line are becoming smaller, the discontinuation of the Note is an issue. And in 2021 it can even become reality.
In the last week, the reputable leaker Ice Universe stated that there are no plans for successors of the Galaxy Note 20 (the date). And the South Korean website Aju News now states that Samsung has already officially confirmed the discontinuation of this line internally.
Galaxy S and Galaxy Z will have support for the S Pen
At issue is the fact that the future Galaxy S 21 Ultra arrive, it seems, with S Pen support. And now this source claims that the future foldable Galaxy Z Fold 3 will also have this support.
As mentioned, the Z Fold 3 will be released in June 2021 with built-in S Pen. And it will use a new generation of ultra-thin glass on the screen to prevent any scratches coming from it.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 with camera under the screen
This same source says that Samsung’s next foldable may also be the brand’s first to hit the market with a camera under the screen. The pop-up mechanism will have been solved, but raised questions of durability and will have been put aside by the brand.
As mentioned above, the Samsung Galaxy S 21 Ultra should arrive in January with support for the S Pen. Soon we will know whether or not Samsung will even abandon the Note line, this being an increasingly strong possibility. For now, you can check out the best of Samsung’s ecosystem at 2020.
