Fireball Malware, the new strain of Malware from Chinese that has been identified by security researchers, this malware hit India hard this is the worst malware attack in India. The malware is designed to change the victim’s browser to a default search engine.

It’s not long a huge number of people faced Wannacry ransomware attack. The Wannacry Ransomware attack hit many companies across the world. It is one of the biggest ransomware attacks of its kind as far security attack is concerned.

Security researchers are still working fixes for the Wannacry Malware. Fireball a new malware identified by some security researchers is out to cause harm to many. Reports from Check Point, say by changing the user’s default search engine, the evil-minded person track the user’s web traffic on behalf of the Beijing-based digital marketing firm

The security firm Check Point also mentioned that Fireball malware could run malicious code on the victim’s computer to download new malicious files. The head of Check Point Research team Maya Horowitz, said “A quarter-billion computers could very easily become victims of real malware. It installs a backdoor into all these computers that can be very easily exploited in the hands of the Chinese people behind this campaign.”h

“But only a fraction of those victims, around 5.5 million PCs, are in the US. Far worse hit are countries like Brazil and India, with close to 25 million infected computers each.

The worst part of Fireball is that it acts as an adware which has a legit digital certificate. It can spread itself through popular adware technique known as ‘Bundling.’ The Fireball can be installed on the computer along with software. However, the easiest way to check out if your system is infected with Fireball malware is to check whether the default search engine is changed or not.

It can also be removed from computers by uninstalling the Adware from Programs and Features in Windows control Panel. Several Anti-malware programs could also fix the issue.
