Battery consumption is one of the main aspects that you want to optimize all the time. With this, iOS power saving mode can help, but its operation is not perfect.
Fortunately, there is a new free jailbreak tweak ifConnected, which adds more useful options for the standard power saving mode.
After installing tweak in Settings, a new section will appear with various options:
Here you can:
- Enable and disable power saving mode depending on the connection to the power source.
- Enable or disable the power saving mode depending on the connection to the Wi-Fi network.
- Save the SSID of your home Wi-Fi network to disable power saving mode when connected to it.
Tweak developer added respring button for easy saving and applying changes.
Without tweak, you can control the power saving mode manually via the Control Point or Settings. In addition, the system turns it on automatically when the battery charge drops below 20%. However, these opportunities may be few. Tweak ifConnected essentially automates the operation of the mode, which is very convenient.
If you want to install Tweak ifConnected, you can download it for free from the Packix repository . It supports iOS 10 and 11 jailbreak devices.
