The Wall Street Journal will be part of Apple's news subscription service

Apple is expected to announce its new news subscription service on March 25 during the “It’s Show Time” event in which Apple will also unveil its long-awaited streaming videos. It seems Apple has partnered with a variety of news sources and, according to the New York Times, Apple has just entered into a partnership with The Wall Street Journal.

According to the paper, the Cupertino company is trying to persuade publishers to join the new service by saying that the app in question will come pre-installed on all iPhones and iPads that will be sold in the future, bringing great potential so that many of its consumers can get in touch with the subjects and be introduced to their contents.

Most likely, the Wall Street Journal and Apple will formalize their agreement during the event, but according to anonymous sources who have contacted the New York Times, other major publishers such as The Washington Post and The New York Times, opted not to join the service, largely because Apple would be wanting to grab 50 percent of the revenue it generates, and be asking for “unlimited access to all content” for service subscribers – which should cost $ 10 a month.
