Spider-Man game, FIFA and new Tomb Raider are highlights of September

We’re already in the final months of 2018, and that means the gaming industry is preparing for the biggest releases of the year.

September is already filled with news and games awaited by the public, from blockbusters like Marvel’s Spider-Man and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, to niche games like Dragon Quest XI and Life is Strange 2.

And, as a special highlight for the Brazilian public, September is also the month of FIFA 19, which now brings the Champions League.

Dragon Quest XI Echoes of an Elusive Age

PC / PS4

Released in July 2017 in Japan, the new episode of the Dragon Quest series finally reaches the West, with the mission of finally winning the audiences of this region.

In Echoes of an Elusive Age, the player controls a hero that aims to save the world of Lotozetasia and the Great Tree of Life from evil forces.

In addition to these versions, the game will also receive a version of Nintendo Switch, but only in 2019.

Home Gone

The acclaimed independent game from The Fullbright Company, Gone Home now comes to the Nintendo Switch, showing the journey of young Katie Greenbriar to her new home and what happened to her sister, Samantha, while she was away.

Marvel’s Spider-Man

After years of waiting, Spider-Man finally returns in style to the gaming world, courtesy of Insomniac Games, same studio as Ratchet & Clank and Sunset Overdrive.

In an unprecedented adventure, the Spider will fight against new and old threats, including villains like Negative Lord, Rino, Scorpio, Vulture, Shocker, Electro, among others.

During the story, the Neighborhood Buddy will feature characters like Miles Morales and his ex-girlfriend, Mary Jane Watson, now reporter for Clarim Diário and who will also be a controllable character in the game.

This year’s edition of EA’s basketball series features Joel Embiid, star of the Philadelphia 76ers, on the cover of the game.

The game will also feature a new career mode in which it will be possible to play with female athletes and mixed teams.

Celebrating his 20 years, the NBA 2K series returns this year with LeBron James on the commemorative cover and Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks in the normal version.

In addition, MyCareer mode, The Way Back, will feature actors known to the public, such as Anthony Mackie, Haley Joel Osment, Michael Rapaport, Ricky Whittle and Ginger Gonzaga.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Shadow of the Tomb Raider takes the heroine to a remote region of the Amazon, where she must prevent a Mayan apocalypse – an event she herself helped to bring about.

During her journey, Lara will once again face the forces of the Trinity organization, and must use her stealth and combat skills to face her soldiers and other threats from the region.

The popular EA football game returns, now with Cristiano Ronaldo wearing the Juventus uniform on the cover.

Among the new features of FIFA 19 are the inclusion of the Champions League in the game, and the conclusion of the Journey Mode, showing the conclusion of the story of Alex Hunter. In the campaign, it will also be possible to play as Kim Hunter and Danny Williams.
