The first Red Dead Redemption was released in 2010 for PS3 and Xbox 360, making it one of the most popular games of Rockstar Games. So, as we approach the tenth anniversary of the game, a remake will be released next year or so.
Through an anonymous user of Reddit, it has been revealed that Rockstar is developing a remake of the original game. The user states that he works closely with digital artists of the company. However, nothing is official for now.
The remake will be an enhancement of graphics and gameplay
According to the information leak, the remake of Red Dead Redemption will implement gameplay and mechanics present in the sequel, released in 2018. Also, the map will be more comprehensive, but only in the desert part.
Some of the actors will return to record more dialogue to connect the story between the two games better. The game is supposed to be released in late 2020 or early 2021.
A new DLC for Red Dead Redemption 2 is on its way
The information leak also revealed the development of a supposed DLC for Red Dead Redemption 2. Although there is not much detail, the story will be centered around aliens.
This will be a completely different story from the realistic narrative of the main game. The first game also had a similar DLC, titled Undead Nightmare, with the undead to mix.
