Google Pixel Watch

After Samsung introduced the Galaxy Note 9 all the attention has turned to the next releases of Google. The new Pixel 3 has made the rounds of rumours and it seems that they will arrive accompanied by the new smartwatch Pixel Watch.

It has been confirmed in several leaks of information that Pixel Watch is in the development phase. Everything indicates that 2018 will be the year that Google will launch its first smartwatch.

While launching their first smartwatch, one may also be able to bring a “breath of fresh air” to the dormant Wear OS. Today, Apple dominates this market undeniably. Not only without competition from manufacturers Wear OS devices, but also from Samsung.

Even considering the great success that the Galaxy Watch has achieved, we must not forget that they have the Tizen operating system. As such, they end up becoming extremely limited with the remaining Android smartphones.

Google Pixel Watch practically confirmed for 2018, will it be the rebirth of Wear OS?

All the rumours and leaks that have been circulating since the beginning of the year point to the launch of the first Pixel Watch this fall. In addition, information published in July indicated that three different models of the new smartwatch will even arrive.

According to  WinFuture,  these three models have internal code names  Ling, Triton and Sardine. Unfortunately, to this date no great information has come up on its specifications. It is only known that they would arrive equipped with the new platform Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100.

To give even more strength to the possible arrival of Pixel Watch is the news that the company is working on a new virtual assistant, Google Coach. Aimed primarily at Wear OS devices, it seems natural that it comes as a feature of the first Google smartwatch.
