Overwatch reaches 40 million players

Overwatch has officially reached 40 million players, said Jeff Kaplan, director of the game, in a new video posted on Tuesday 15th by Blizzard.

In the video, Kaplan confirms the beginning of the commemorative event of the two years of Overwatch for May 22 and indicates that the company should bring a good amount of special content to mark the date.

Among them will be a new deathmatch mode each by itself, which arrives next to the Petra map. In addition to changing bring a new style of play, the map will come with new gameplay elements, including a mega recovery package for life in its central area.
