Today Nubia, a sub-brand of ZTE officialized its new smartphone called Nubia Z18. The press conference was held in Beijing. Before we go into the details, I knew that this device will be available for purchase from September 11th. The price is around 352 Euros in its most economic version.
A monocle shaped like a drop of water
Firstly, this device comes with a 6 “Full HD +” Infinite Waterdrop “screen that offers a resolution of 2180 x 1080 pixels and a ratio of 18: 9. This phone offers a screen-to-body ratio of 91.8%, and the panel is protected by a glass layer of Corning Gorilla Glass.
A top processor
The Z18 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. The chipset operates at 2.8 GHz and includes an Adreno 630 graphics card, up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage capacity. It should be noted that this processor is 3 times faster than the previous generation.
The Nubia Z18 comes with Nubia Evolution Tensor technology that this company describes as an evolutionary machine learning technology. Thanks to its ability to learn, it has the ability to combine different algorithms to ensure the best performance.
At the camera level we find a dual chamber configuration at the rear. Thus, it has sensors of 16 and 24 MP and aperture of 1.6. This is coupled with optical image stabilization and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) for smoother video recording. Already on the front we find an 8 MP camera for selfies with portrait mode.
Other features include a 3,450 mAh battery that supports fast charging technology. Also noteworthy is a fingerprint reader located on the back, the Android Oreo operating system. The level of connectivity includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB Type-C.
The Nubia Z18 will be available in black and red colors with a price of around 352.03 Euros for the 6 GB version of RAM and for the 8 GB version costs about 414.86 Euros.
