A new gameplay by Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 was published on the Phillip Chu Joy channel on YouTube and, in addition to showing more radical maneuvers, highlights the presence of classic skaters who will return to the game. The scenes are starring Tony Hawk, Rodney Mullen, Chad Muska, Andrew Reynolds, Elissa Streamer and Steve Caballero.
The cool thing about the video is that the stars are not in their young versions of the time, but in their current “shapes”. Caballero, for example, is the oldest of all, 55 years old. Even so, the skateboarder manages to give a bath to very young people around.
Skateboarder Tony Hawk shared a few words about the ramake-like remaster announcement. Activision’s original title strengthened the sport of four wheels and therefore he expects the same to happen with future generations of fans.
The original Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series is a big factor in the evolution of modern maneuvers and inspiration for many professional skaters that the public knows and loves today. I’m excited to help inspire a new generation of skaters and gamers – in addition to existing fans – and further strengthen the sport.
