You must have heard of Mortal Kombat. This series defined what is expected in a fighting game in its own way, with an easy gameplay to start, but difficult to master. However, what stands out most are the horrific Fatalities.
These are a sequence of buttons that you must press to end the combat in a brutally devastating way. Still, in these 25 or more years of the series, we have the feeling of wanting even more of these. But not us!
However, at a recent NetherRealm event, several mechanics and characters were announced. However, certain expected characters did not appear. Because? Apparently, some characters will be unlockable upon certain requirements.
In fact, it is not the first time that Mortal Kombat has this peculiarity
Undeniably, Mortal Kombat was a pioneer in fighting games for including secret characters. Similarly, as in previous iterations, this “tradition” holds for the next title.
Although we do not have any hint about which of the characters will not make appearances. I believe that favourite characters like Kitana will not be out of the way. It would be a mistake for the team led by Ed Boon not to include characters with such a dedicated fanbase.
Although it takes a few months for Mortal Kombat 11 to hit stores, you’ll always have the opportunity to try out the game’s beta. The studio behind the game confirmed the date for the testing phase.
The Mortal Kombat 11 beta will start on March 28th!
So we’ll have to wait two months to get our hands on the masses … Still, with the hype demonstrated by the fans, it’s likely that you’ll meet a lot of people when trying out online matches with others.
Mortal Kombat 11 will hit stores on April 23 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Switch (!). Yes, you heard! If you have a Nintendo Switch, you will not be out of the action!
