Increasingly, we see major car manufacturers investing in the launch of new electric cars, especially since this segment has established itself as one of the ones that has the greatest tendency to grow over the coming years. Following this trend, Mercedes-Benz today presented its new electric all-terrain SUV, EQC 4×4².
Markus Schäfer, revealed that Mercedes’ main goal with this new electric 4×4² SUV is achieve the perfect balance between luxury and sustainability. However, instead of developing an all-terrain electric car from scratch, they chose to modify the existing Mercedes EQC.
Although the “hybrid” design may not be to everyone’s liking, it seems more than guaranteed that off-road performance of the new electric Mercedes is of high performance. In terms of height from the ground to the body, this Mercedes-Benz EQC 4×4² is twice as tall as the original model, and even higher than the G-Class model.

The manufacturer also decided to dedicate some time to the design of a custom sound system for this new all-terrain car. For an even more immersive driving experience, the Mercedes-Benz EQC 4×4² comes with an interactive sound system, which corresponds to several triggers .
Despite having been made the official presentation of this model, it has not been confirmed by the brand whether they will launch a production model of the new electric 4×4², or even as an alternative package in the purchase of the already launched EQC.
