Meizu is preparing to launch on August 8th two smartphones that include Meizu 16 and Meizu 16 Plus. Meizu’s founder, Jack Wong, has revealed a lot of information about the specifications of these devices. Also following this information, today appeared in Weibo some slides that reveal the main characteristics of this equipment that apparently wants to compete directly with the Xiaomi MI 8.
The image suggests that both devices should have a fingerprint reader built into the display. Add to that a Snapdragon 845 processor, cameras with Artificial Intelligence, a new design and a headphone output.
The slides also reveal that the Meizu 16 is much thinner and lighter compared to other top-of-the-range models. The Meizu 16 is 7.3 millimeters thick and weighs 152 grams while the Plus version is also 7.3 millimeters and weighs 182 grams.
