Still at the beginning of this month of May, more precisely on the 2nd, we saw the LG
This is already the third top of the range that the South Korean company unveils in 2018. Last February at the MWC, the V30S ThinQ was introduced. This would be the embodiment of a software improvement over the V30 introduced in late 2017.
Regarding this LG V35 ThinQ, we have some improvements compared to previous models of this range of phablets. These are mainly at the level of your hardware/specifications.
But starting with its design, we have here a smartphone very similar to those we already know of this range. We do not have major design revolutions here vis-a-vis its predecessors. This is, yes, the alternative to G7 ThinQ for a top of the range without notch.
LG V35 ThinQ will be the alternative without notch to LG G7 ThinQ
In terms of specifications, this V35 ThinQ features the all-powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. It’s the same processor we can find in the G7 ThinQ, so we should not have major discrepancies in performance.
To support this processor, we still have at our disposal 6GB of RAM and internal memory options of 64GB or 128GB. As for your screen, this is a 6-inch 18: 9 OLED, with a QHD + resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels.
But the big news of this smartphone compared to the model unveiled in February are at the level of his camera. This new equipment has precisely the same camera as the G7 ThinQ. That is, the best camera ever developed by South Korea.
It is a module with two 16MP lenses. The primary sensor, with a focal aperture of f / 1.6, is a common OIS lens. Already its secondary sensor, with a f / 1.9 aperture, is a wide angle. Already on the front we will have an 8MP lens.
The rear assembly of this equipment promises to capture images with better results in low light conditions. What’s more, the technology promises that images captured using the wide-angle lens will have less distortion at their edges.
As it should be, Artificial Intelligence will have something to say in this chamber. The new V35 ThinQ comes with 19 different capture modes, to always capture the best possible image.
As with the LG G7 ThinQ, this new phablet will have native support for Google Lens and Google Assistant. With Google Lens, the user will be able to have immediate access to more information about the object being captured.
LG continues its bet on the sound quality of its device
It is also important to mention the presence of a 3300mAh battery, with Quick Charge 3.0 quick charging and wireless charging. IP68 certification still stands out against water and dust and in terms of software, we will have Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box.
Last but not least, we must emphasize LG’s continued commitment to the sound quality of its equipment. As has been customary, this new smartphone features a Hi-Fi Quad DAC for richer sound when you use your earphones.
This new LG V35 ThinQ will go on sale next June 8, in selected markets. If the past serves as an example, this equipment will not officially reach Europe. As for prices, we do not have official information yet.
