LG V30 comes with large camera upgrade

The Android smartphone is to convince mainly with its light-strong dual camera While many smartphone manufacturers can not be seen in the maps before a large product presentation,  LG details of its new V30 itself “leak” itself. The official revelation followed at the IFA in Berlin. It is the “most perfect smartphone” of LG so far and “all customers will want it,” announced the company full-bodied.

LG V30 Cameras

The focus of the smartphone is on the photo and video functions. The main camera has a 16-megapixel sensor with F1.6 aperture, optical and electronic image stabilizer and a second wide angle sensor with 13 megapixels and F1.9 aperture. This should allow better recording even in low ambient light. Unlike the predecessor V20, it no longer protrudes from the rear of the housing. On the front is a 5-megapixel wide-angle camera with F2.2 aperture. On the software side, the V30 has a new “Cine Video” mode, in which users can filter their videos with filters according to different movie genres. With the “Point Zoom” you can enlarge any motif in the picture. With the “Cine Log” function, the manufacturer promises images with more detailed image details, such as improved dynamics and a wider color scale. For the sound, a Hifi Quad DAC from Bang and Olufsen is integrated.

LG V30 Display

The LG V30 display is based on a 6-inch Oled display with a resolution of 2,880 x 1,440 pixels and an always-on function. As with many models of the competition, the frame around the screen has shrunk considerably. So it comes to slimmer dimensions of 151,7 x 75,4 x 7,3mm than its predecessor. As a processor, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 is used. The device provides 4GB of memory. For internal memory, LG offers two options: 64 GB at normal V30 and 128 GB at V30 +. Both models can be extended by MicroSD cards. Other features include a 3.300mAh battery with a cordless charging function, NFC, and a USB type C connector. The housing is protected against dust and water by protection class IP68 and is available in black, silver, blue and violet. As an operating system is Android 7.1.2 pre-installed including Google Assistant. In addition to a fingerprint sensor, the LG V30 also allows face detection. The smartphone also supports Google’s virtual reality platform Daydream. In Europe, the smartphone will be offered from 899 euros starting in November. (Br, 31.8.2017)
