The period between Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday was a success for Nintendo. According to Adobe Analytics, the company grew 45% over last year, totaling more than $ 250 million in hardware sold.
Of course, the Nintendo Switch was one of the highlights of this holiday: among Nintendo consoles, it has become the biggest seller in the history of that 5-day period. In addition, between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the Switch was the leader in sales among all consoles.
But it was not only in Switch that Nintendo’s success was based. The company also saw good numbers for the Nintendo 3DS family and its two mini-consoles – NES and Super NES Classic Edition.
According to a company balance, the Switch has reached the total of 8.2 million units sold since its launch. The two editions of Pokémon Let’s Go combined for 1.5 million copies, while Super Mario Party exceeded 1 million.
The great success can leverage Nintendo to atinger its goal of 38 million Nintendo Switch sales. However, according to Bloomberg report, the console should stagnate at 35 million.
