Things You Need

For us to be able to root the device first we need to flash recovery based Android M 6.0

Install Recovery On Infinix Note 2 X600

1. Connect your device to your PC
2. Send the SuperSu to your external Sdcard
3. Discount and put your Phone off
3. The Recovery you downloaded unzip it on your desktop
4. Launch your Sp Flash Tools
5. Load the scatter file from computer Via Sp Flash Tools click scatter loading
6. Navigate and select the scatter file in the unzip Twrp folder
7. Tick just recovery in the Sp flash tools
8. In the select option on Sp flash tools put Download  only
9. Click Download
10. Connect the switched off phone (with battery inside) to the PC via USB cord
12. A progress bar should start running
13.Wait till you get a Success message (green circle with OK), do not interrupt before then

1. Boot To Recovery mode (power off your device then Hold power button and Volume Key same for five Sec.)
2. In  Recovery Mode Choose install zip from Sdcard navigate to the SuperSu.zip from Sdcard (use volume key to scroll) to install
3. After Flashing navigate back and reboot

Congratulation your  Infinix Note 2 X600 is rooted

  1. Thank you so much for this info and upload. That's why I mostly rely on Androidvillaz for updates. This site makes complicated issues so simple for its visitors. When I visited the Infinix official site, the MM updates have been linked to Mega thereby denying non-Mega subscribers the chance to download. Secondly, the updates were not so clearly spelt out. It's after visiting here that I found out that the file I downloaded for my 2gb ram Note 2 was the wrong one, never knew there are a1 and b1 versions of the 2gb ram. Now I downloaded the correct file from here and successfully upgraded my phone to the popular MM.
    My problem, however, is that the recovery I need to root the phone isn't downloadable from here. I followed the link but couldn't get the download. Please, check and rectify the problem to enable us download the recovery for rooting.
