How to force restart iPhone XR

In iOS 12, Apple focused on improving system stability, but that doesn’t mean that there will be no system problems with your new iPhone XR. In such cases, the first thing to do is to force the reboot, which is very easy.

However, if you switched to a new model from the old iPhone with the Home button, you are hardly familiar with the new way to perform a forced reboot. Do not worry, we will help you.

Forced iPhone reboot XR

Step 1: Quickly press and release the  Volume Up button.

Step 2: Quickly press and release the  Volume Down button.

Step 3: Hold the side button. First, the normal device shutdown screen will appear, but keep holding the button until you see the Apple logo on the screen.

A forced reboot will not delete your data. It only helps in cases where the smartphone hangs due to some application or system bug. If you switched to an iPhone XR from an iPhone 8 or older model, our instructions will definitely come in handy. It’s time to memorize a new way to force a reload for the future.
