However, this year Honor has released the Honor 7A smartphone with Snapdragon 430 and Honor 7C with Snapdragon 450. Now the site Master Lu reveals that Honor 8X will be the next phone of the company to integrate a Snapdragon chipset, this after having speculated that the processor chosen would be Kirin 710.
TENAA has recently certified an Honor phone that has the ARE-AL00 model number. This smartphone should be made official as Honor 8X. The same model emerged on the benchmarking platform of Chinese Master Lu, where Honor 8X with the Snapdragon 660 chipset recorded a score of 123,919 points.
The Snapdragon 660 mobile platform joins 4 GB of RAM. At the camera level this device has a dual chamber rear configuration with 16 + 2-megapixel sensors.
For self-shooting, an 8-megapixel front camera stands out. The listing of the Master Lu does not reveal the screen size, but confirms that it supports Full HD + resolution of 2244 x 1080 pixels. However the person responsible for the arrival of this listing to the Internet says that there will also be a version of Honor 8X with chipset Snapdragon 636.
However, it should be noted that the Honor 8X images in TENAA confirmed that it has a monocle screen. In addition, the TENAA listing also featured a huge 7.12-inch screen.
Other features of the Honor 8X include a 4,900mAh battery with 18W quick charge, Android 8.1 Oreo and rear-mounted fingerprint reader.
A recent teaser about this smartphone suggests that it will also integrate liquid cooling, CPU Turbo and GPU Turbo features. The release date is not yet known.
Looking to the above specifications, the Honor 8X has everything to compete against the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 that comes with a FHD + screen of 6.99 inches, Snapdragon 636 chipset, 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM and 5.500mAh battery.
