Facebook Messenger will now allow you to delete sent messages

Facebook Messenger is one of the most used instant messaging applications in the world. This popularity may have stemmed from the mandatory use that, at one point, Facebook imposed on all its users.

Being Mark Zuckerberg’s most widely used social network around the world, it quickly became the simplest way to keep in touch with our more distant friends. Task that happened then to be able to be realized only in its Messenger, in the mobile platforms.

It is only natural that from time to time some news will be made available. The aim will be to keep users happy and satisfied with the service in question. For the future, it will be time for Facebook Messenger to receive a feature that other applications already have.

According to the progress of the publication TechCrunch, this chat service will now allow to delete messages already sent. A possibility that already exists in WhatsApp and Instagram, also owned by the company of Mark Zuckerberg.

As in the above applications, this will allow you to remove a message that you have mistakenly sent to someone. Functionality that may be immense at times when your discernment is not at its best.

This news comes after the controversy installed with the removal of some of the messages sent by Mark Zuckerberg. Some messages sent by the CEO of Facebook simply disappeared from the talks. A maneuver made without any warning and that many take into account as a breach of trust. It is not yet known when it will be available to all users. Nor in what terms will it work. It has only been said that it is being prepared conveniently and will be made available to all Facebook Messenger users.

A practice that was later confirmed by Facebook also to TechCrunch. In that statement, a company spokesman said that its executives would no longer be able to withdraw their messages. With today’s news, Mark appears in this story as a beta tester of this functionality.

All this news could have come at any time. However, the company chose to assume them only when faced with the situation. A practice that may not have been the best and which raises even more suspicion in his surroundings after the Cambridge Analytica scandal.
