DxOMark results from iPhone Xs Max do not exceed Huawei P20 Pro

Photography is today one of the essential components in any top of the range that is currently released. DxOMark already scored the brand new iPhone Xs Max, however, this one was below the Huawei P20 Pro.

After the size, thickness, processing, and RAM, the photographic component is now one of the confrontation points of the main tops of the range.

If for several years Nokia, Sony, Apple, and Samsung have switched to the top of this component, the truth is that other manufacturers have emerged in recent years.

Huawei is one of the fastest growing brands in recent times, much owing to the high investment it has made in this area. After launching the trend of double cameras in the market, together with Leica, has now bet on three sensors that have brought about quite a few good results.

If we look at the top of the DxOMark table, one of the main references in photo analysis, we can see that it is currently the Huawei P20 Pro that leads isolated. With the recent arrival of the Samsung Note 9 and the iPhone Xs and Xs Max, it was expected that the top position of the Chinese brand was at risk. However, after the publication of the results, this was something that was not confirmed.

After Samsung’s “only” model managed to score 103 points, the new iPhone was expected to be a fierce competition for the P20 Pro. However, the Xs Max scored 105 points, still being distant from the top 109 of Huawei.

If we look at just the individual results of photography and video, the iPhone Xs Max totaled 110 points in photography and 96 points in the video. Already the P20 Pro, won 114 points in photography and 98 points in video recording.

Huawei Mate 20 could rise to the top of the standings

Although Apple could not be considered so far from the top of the range of Huawei, the truth is that the P20 Pro exhibited a giant leap in quality when it was introduced.

With Huawei Mate 20 at the door, rumors have it that he will be able to beat his brother’s results, adding a fantastic 116 points in the overall standings, 7 over Huawei P20 Pro.
