The Chinese company has a good track record in software updates. OnePlus 6 was one of the first to declare that it would receive the Beta version of Android P and the 5 and 5T also had the confirmation of the reception of the new software.
OnePlus offers users the OxygenOS system. This User Interface is very similar to the pure version. I like to call it the Pure Android with steroids. There’s basically the same functionality and cleanliness of the Google version, however, it adds small tweaks that are welcome to customization.
Today the Asian brand that OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T will receive Android P, however, that will go from Oreo 8.0 to the new version. That is, they will jump to version 8.1.
OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T will receive Android P, now it’s safe to say this!
It is not problematic that this happens. Many brands do and there are no major problems in such. It is true that the bugs can be a little bigger since it skipped the possibility of having a stable previous version, but nothing that a week of updates does not solve.
Android P does not give us much new design, however, we have a system to think about the well-being of users.
This is proven even with the application “digital wellbeing” an App that tells you how much time you spend in each application and helps you reduce dependence on the smartphone.
There are no Android P arrival dates yet for OnePlus 3 and 3T. Obviously the Asian company will give priority to 5, 5, and 6. Even so, if you have a 3 or 3 you can breathe with relief.
