The Chinese technology company, TCL, is preparing to launch a new version of the latest member of the BlackBerry family. Soon, the BlackBerry Key2 LE smartphone will arrive in the Android market, a new version, now more economical (and modest).
The device was revealed in an exclusive – image – by the team of AndroidPolice, publication through which the information arrives. There, one of its readers would reveal the image of what will be the next Android smartphone of the Canadian manufacturer.
Note also that according to the leakster Roland Quandt, the device will cost considerably less than the current Key2. Something that goes against rumors to date, as well as new information around this Android device.
In fact, we now know the almost complete range of its technical characteristics. Moreover, the image helps us to put a “face” in the product whose specifications we also know.
Here’s the BlackBerry KEY2 LE
According to AndroidPolice, the BlackBerry KEY 2 LE smartphone will feature the processor Snapdragon 636 from Qualcomm. We will also have a total of 4GB of RAM plus two versions of internal storage – 32GB and 64GB of memory for the user. We also have the possibility of expanding the memory through a microSD card in the device that can then be contemplated.
It should also be noted that in the past we would see some leaks of information referring to this device. More specifically, a score of the test platform Geekbench where the device presented the processor Snapdragon 660, which is slightly higher.
Is this the next Android smartphone from BlackBerry?
Sure, the Android smartphone can be seen here with a dual camera on its back. According to the rumors we will have a 13MP sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor whereas in the top version – Key 2 – we have two 12MP sensors.
Something that can also be gauged through this image is the design identical to Key2. Already according to some certifications of the product the terminal will measure 150.25 x 71.8 x 8.35 mm, being a little more compact than the Key 2. It will also be a little lighter, now with 156 grams.
In this Android smartphone, TCL has decided to use a battery of lower capacity, going from 3500mAh to 3000mAh. Already the size and screen resolution should remain at 4.5 inches Full-HD (1080 x 1620 pixels), respectively.
We now await the official presentation (and price disclosure) of the BlackBerry Key2 LE smartphone.
