It no news that BlackBerry has stopped producing smartphone so they are not wasting any time moving away from smartphones to what will favour them. They announced on Monday 1st Nov 2016 to have secure a deal with Ford to work on automotive software.
John Chen CEO of BlackBerry said “The future of the automobile is all about embedded intelligence,” in a statement. “I believe our expertise in secure embedded software makes us the preferred technology provider to put the smart in the car.”
