The Japanese platform Bitpoint was the victim of an attack that was stolen $ 28 million , affecting half of its users. Of this amount 19 million dollars belonged to its user base, which already totaled 110 thousand people. The remaining value belonged to the company.
Several cryptocurrencies were stolen during the attack
Bitpoint reported that different types of crypto-coins were stolen. We are talking about Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin to Ripple. Altogether, the cryptocurrency totaled the value of the assault.
Hackers have directly attacked users’ virtual ‘wallets’, where crypto-coins are stored. Bitpoint did not specify how else they might have exploited a security hole in the platform.
The company will reward injured users

A similar case occurred in 2018
