The number of app downloads has risen to 113 billion in 2018, according to information collected by App Annie, up 10 percent from last year.
The data also shows that spending on paid apps also rose to more than $ 76 billion, up 20 percent from 2017, especially for games. The numbers are for both the App Store, Apple , and Google Play, by December 15 this year.

The most revenue-generating apps on Google Play and App Store combined were Netflix, Tinder , Tencent Video, IQIYI and Pandora Music, and the games were Fate / Grand Order , Honor of Kings , Monster Strike , Candy Crush Saga , Lineage M and Pokémon Go, respectively.
By 2019, Appie Annie’s forecast is even higher spending on apps, including third-party Chinese stores, reaching $ 122 million in sales.
