Apple released macOS 10.14.2 and tvOS 12.1.1 with bug fixes

Together with iOS 12.1.1 today, Apple released tvOS 12.1.1 with macOS Mojave 10.14.2. Both updates were at the beta testing stage for about a month, and they can be installed “over the air”.

Here is the postscript for the macOS 10.14.2 update:

Update macOS Mojave 10.14.2 will improve the stability, compatibility and security of your Mac, it is recommended for installation to all users.

This is an update:

  • Adds support for RTT (real-time text) for calls over Wi-Fi.
  • Adds a button to open an article in Safari in the News application.
  • Solves a problem that prevented users from using iTunes to stream music to third-party speakers using AirPlay.

Regarding the update tvOS, Apple has not published a postscript for it. In the new version, no significant changes were found. Most likely, the update is aimed only at fixing bugs.
