Apollo is not just another prototype, but a ready product, available for pre-order. Its main feature is the charging speed. For example, the accessory is able to charge the iPhone X or Galaxy S8 from zero to 50% in just 30 minutes, and the full charge of the iPhone 8 Plus will take an hour and a half instead of the usual three.
The capacity of Apollo is 6,000 mAh, which by today’s standards is not so much. But traditional external batteries are charged for hours, whereas this gadget is replenished from scratch to 100% in just 20 minutes. The accessory is charged using adapters with a power of up to 60 W, and it outputs up to 40 W on the output. For recharging, blocks from the Nintendo Switch, Apple MacBook or Lenovo Dell and HP laptops are suitable.
The gadget is equipped with three connectors: USB-A with support for Quick Charge 3.0, USB Type-C with an output power of up to 40 watts and conventional USB-A. It also has a small display for displaying the level of charge.
Apollo supports the Power Delivery 3 protocol. You needn’t bring a separate adapter with you because it is compatible with USB C power adapters of Nintendo Switch, Apple MacBook, Lenovo laptop, Dell laptop or HP laptop.
If you have only old laptop chargers or MagSafe adapters, you can also use our Anywatt adapter to charge Apollo.
Besides, Apollo supports 40W USB C PD output, which means it supports the Fast Charging of the latest iPhone 8 or iPhone X, or in an emergency, it supports emergency charge to your Apple Macboook.
External battery Apollo can be ordered at Kickstarter for $ 59.
