Music streaming is widespread use of smart speakers, but the particular speaker you have give orders to which of services you have access to. The Amazon’s speakers are for sure getting better in that regard to the future of Music, as the company has finally announced that the Apple Music will be available on its Echo devices this December.
Availability of the Apple Music is a fairly big deal, as it was previously only streaming on the Apple’s pricey HomePod speakers. The partnership will be lucrative for both parties, potentially driving both Amazon Echo sales and Apple Music subscriptions during holiday shopping.
Amazon didn’t give an exact date for the Apple Music availability, saying only that it will be coming “this holiday season” December for sure unless you consider the New Year’s Day part of the holiday season. There’s no information if the Apple Music will be coming to Google Home.
