Adobe works on an AI that identifies edited images

The Adobe is developing an artificial intelligence able to improve and identify modified images.

At first, AI is able to recognize three different types of image editing: cloningremoval, and splicing (the combination of different elements).

Part of the results of this work was shown in CVPR 2018 (Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition, as the Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition in Portuguese), as reported by The Verge.

To identify issues, IA seeks differences in attributes such as color and brightness.
