Motorola Moto E5 Play Android Go Edition is now official

It was in April of this year that Motorola unveiled its mid-range and entry-level. The new families Moto G6 and Moto E5 deliver us a total of six equipment, with variants for all tastes. Now we have another variant starring the Motorola Moto E5 Play Android Go.

As its name implies, this is Lenovo’s first bet on the Android Go platform. It was thought that this could only happen with the arrival of the new Moto C2, but the plans eventually changed.

The Android Go platform is targeted to low-end devices. Smartphones equipped with a very optimized operating system to disguise the humility of their specifications.

So it’s no wonder that Motorola has picked up on its most economical equipment for this new variant. Now we have an Android device in its purest state and managed directly by Google.

Motorola Moto E5 Play Android Go arrives in Europe and Latin America

But it will not be only in software that we can distinguish these two smartphones. Also on the hardware, there are some differences that are worth referring to right away.

We can start right away by the screen of this equipment. The model unveiled in April has 5.2 inches of diagonal. A screen with a 16: 9 ratio, with an HD resolution of 720p.

Already its variant with Android Go arrives us with 5.3 inches and with an ratio 18: 9. However, the company did not specify the resolution of this screen, nor did it specify the processor included in the device.

In terms of RAM, the Moto E5 Play Android Go has 2GB of RAM, not knowing the amount of temporary memory of your brother Android Go. Given the segment that is inserted, we can face 1GB of RAM.

Regarding the differences, it is time to look at the similarities. The one that jumps us immediately in sight is its design. This is unchanged compared to the model unveiled in April and also its construction materials.

Also in the photographic field we do not have news to report. Indeed, we have an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. Your fingerprint sensor is also located on the back of the brand logo.

Finally, it is important to mention that this smartphone will officially arrive in Europe and Latin America. Its selling price will be set at € 109.
