For some time now Microsoft has failed to publish exact figures on Xbox sales, but that does not mean that the company no longer wants to release good news about the division.

According to data released on Wednesday 05 2018, Xbox One sales were 15% higher in the first quarter of this year compared to the same period in 2017.

According to the company, the number of monthly active users on Xbox Live also grew considerably: 13% in the first quarter of 2018 when compared to the same period last year, reaching 59 million.

The social engagement of the platform also seems to be gaining space and already counts more than 600 thousand friendships created through the Looking For Group function. More than 1.2 million clubs also already exist in Live.Clubs on Xbox Live.

The good results are due to cross-platform titles such as Fortnite and Far Cry 5, but also to the exclusive Sea of Thieves and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
