Motorola Moto E5 Moto E5 Plus

We are just days away from seeing the new Motorola input range introduced. The Motorola Moto E5 and Moto E5 Plus will be unveiled later this week. Before this event, we have the confirmation that they will have Snapdragon processors.

A certain date of the rumours inherent in these smartphones came the possibility that they have MediaTek processors. They are SoC’s naturally cheaper but whose quality should not be called into question. Usually some brands end up opting for these chips in order to keep their equipment more in mind.

However, there is still a certain bias about MediaTek processors. The fact that they are, as a rule, less prone to updates discourages many potential buyers. But if this was one of your thoughts on the new Moto E5 you can rest easy.

Thanks to the recent passage of the Motorola Moto E5 and E5 Plus by the FCC, we have confirmation that they will have Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. They will be SoCs of the 400 range, the range compatible with the market of these smartphones.

Indeed, the FCC reveals to us that the Moto E5 with codes XT1924-4 and XT1924-5 will have the Snapdragon 425. It is a processor with four processing cores with a maximum frequency of 1.2GHz. Moreover, we will have the GPU Adreno 308 graphics.

These are the latest information the FCC has to give us. As for other data, these Motorola Moto E5 will feature 18: 9 screens with diagonals of 5 inches and 5.8 inches for the Plus model. In terms of memory, the first will have 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. Already the second will have 3GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal memory.Regarding the Plus model, of course this one will be entitled to a slightly higher processor. With the code XT1924-3, it has a Snapdragon 430. It will also be a processor with four processing cores but with a maximum frequency of 1.4GHz. Its graphics will be the Adreno 505 GPU.

In terms of photography, the Moto E5 will feature an 8MP main camera, while the Moto E5 Plus will have two 13MP + 5MP lenses. The batteries will also make a difference between these two models, with 2800mAh and 4000mAh respectively.
