Scheduled for May 25, Dark Souls Remastered brings the iconic game from From Software with improved textures, 4K resolution and frame rate to 60 fps.
Bandai Namco revealed that it will do a “loyalty discount”, giving 50% discount to these players on Steam. For those who have already bought Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition, released in 2012 for the PC, and want a new version of the game.
The publisher also revealed that it has plans to remove the Prepare to Die Edition from the Steam store on May 9, which will prevent new players from buying this version – although anyone who already has it in their library will be able to download it freely.
The remastered version of Dark Souls also comes out on May 25 for PS4 and Xbox One, and still in 2018 for the Nintendo Switch.
