Xiaomi Company introduced two new gadgets for the home in China. The first was an improved version of a smart outlet, and the second was a multifunctional charger with support for fast charging technology up to 60W.
Xiaomi Smart Socket Enhanced came to replace the original version, released in 2014. The accessory is inserted into a standard outlet and has two USB ports for connecting and charging mobile devices. It also supports the BC1.2 protocol, remote control and timer function, allows you to view the mobile power consumption statistics and much more. The socket has a temperature sensor, so in case of overheating it will send a notification to the user.
The cost of Xiaomi Smart Socket Enhanced in China is about $ 13.
The second novelty was a USB hub with a long name Xiaomi USB charger with 6 USBs and 60W Fast Charge. The gadget connects to an outlet and allows you to charge up to six devices at the same time. One USB Type-C connector and five USB Type-A ports are available to the user. The total output power is up to 60 watts.
The USB Type-C connector has an output power of up to 18 watts and supports Quick Charge 3.0 and Power Delivery standards. The left USB Type-A port, marked in orange, also supports Quick Charge 3.0 with a maximum power of 18 watts. The remaining four USB Type-A ports provide up to 5V / 2.4A (the total output power is up to 24W).
